What We Do

Fig & Ginger Honolulu started as the first chef-crafted bespoke grazing board company on the island of Oahu. We offer cheese, charcuterie, appetizer, vegan, and seasonal inspired boards. Our products are thoughtfully crafted using fresh, local, and artisanal ingredients. Our mission is to craft quality grazing products that reflect both traditional and innovative flavor pairings. We have embraced the support and aloha from our loyal customers near or far and we are now proudly present Fig & Ginger Honolulu Cafe + Graze

Our all brand new concept of how you “graze”, is now far beyond a takeaway grazing board. We welcome you to our brunch cafe and lifestyle. It’s a place where you can sit back and relax, with a cup of coffee or refreshing Lilikoi shaken iced tea and some House Toasties— our modern take on breakfast, to local scrambled eggs croissant sandwich, to açaí bowl and desserts. You can have it all.

At Fig & Ginger Honolulu, our motto is….”Grazing with Aloha” — because there’s no better place than Hawaii to graze, whether on a white sandy beach or surrounded by lush greenery…and now at our cafe. Grazing is a natural way of life here! Fig & Ginger Honolulu values the little things in life that matter the most, and grazing celebrates this.

Founders

Fig & Ginger Honolulu was born out of a decade of friendship upon the belief in grazing over the foods you love with those you love. Co-founded in Honolulu, Hawaii by Yim Kwok and Jackie Park, Fig & Ginger is a reflection of their upbringings, their love for food, and what they are inspired by the past and present.

“I feel the most comfortable in the kitchen. Food makes my heart happy and I love to share the same feeling with others. The kitchen is my sanctuary and my playground at the same time. If you don’t have fun doing it, you’re doing it all wrong!

…my inspiration comes from everything…my experience, surroundings, nature, people, and culture. The greatest compliment I can receive as a food artist is to be given the freedom to create.”

-Yim, Chef & Co-Founder

Growing up in Thailand, food plays a big role in Yim’s life. Yim gained her love for food by spending time in the kitchen with her grandmother every day after school. It wasn’t until she started baking and enrolled in KCC’s culinary & pastry program that she knew food was her “pure bliss”. This passion for cooking later lead her to become an entrepreneur with various food businesses including Fig & Ginger Honolulu.

“Food has the power to bring people together on the most basic human level. The flavor from an ingredient or a dish can take you back in time, ignite a memory, or evoke emotion. It is not only the food you choose to eat, but the experience of enjoying food that can transform your entire mood and health. Eating is for the body while grazing is for the soul.”

-Jackie, Co-Founder

Born & raised in Hawaii, Jackie grew up in a family of women who loved to cook. An entrepreneur at heart, Jackie studied business and worked in sales & finance prior to leaving the corporate world. She believes you should never stop evolving and enjoying projects where she is able to engage both her business & creative mind. Her vision for Fig & Ginger Honolulu is to make grazing easy so more people can slow down to honor the simple yet meaningful things in life. She is also a co-founder of a Honolulu based jewelry company. Jackie left the company in 2021 to pursue her holistic nutritions study.
